This is to inform you that members of the Library staff have met to discuss your request to post articles to arXiv. We are beginning the process of developing a formal policy statement, which will include the scope and goals of the arXiv and which will spell out the rights and responsibilities of arXiv users, submitters and administrators. We will certainly take the information you have submitted into consideration and we intend to utilize the offices of the Cornell University Counsel to review the policy to ensure that it is legal and fair. When this process is completed, your registration can be considered as a new request. We will contact you when the new policy has been adopted.
